Complaints have been landing again this morning about the closure of Station Road for Gas works, which left Strood and Rochester yet again with super congestion. We have had months of road closures, road works which appear totally uncoordinated by the Labour Council and what appears to be an attack on drivers with the London style traffic management they are implementing.

We have already launched our “Plan for Drivers” which includes reforms to the use of bus lanes, introducing penalties for over running street works. Also to stop road pricing, reversing the ULEZ and hold councils to account for allowing drivers to be made into their cash cows. We’ve seen what Labour do locally, what will they do nationally!
